how does bobby teach?
Bobby Eldridge has been professionally teaching golf since 1975 and has taught thousands of golfers from all over the world, including, hundreds of golf clinics, and schools. For the past 33 years he has maintained the same beliefs about teaching and learning golf. The address position cannot be overlooked. If the grip is the steering wheel to the game of golf, then the address position is the engine that drives it.
Bobby's style of teaching has included the entire game of golf from tee to green. He has tried to keep his message simple. Whether you’re struggling with the short game or your full swing, two thoughts at the same time seem to be plenty. When you’re struggling, everyone develops a consistent pattern of misses. If you try to diagnose the mistakes, sometimes it can be more damaging because you might misdiagnose yourself. Pay close attention to the pattern of your miss hits before you diagnose yourself.
Staying true to the change you make in your golf swing can be emotionally draining because there’s that little part of you that doesn’t really know if this is the correct fix. That in itself might be the single most important why the game is so difficult. Be patient with change and give it a chance.
